We told you that we'd be running monthly approval polls for Chan Gailey and Buddy Nix once Buffalo Bills training camp got underway; the first of the August polls comes today as we break down what Gailey has done of late.

• Placed Trent Edwards atop his QB pecking order, with Ryan Fitzpatrick and Brian Brohm rotating the second spot.
• Other first-teamers to open camp: Demetrius Bell, Steve Johnson, Reggie Torbor, Leodis McKelvin
• Has had his team in pads during every camp practice to date, asking "we're in training camp, aren't we?"
  
• Mandates that all offensive linemen wear knee braces during camp practices.
• Placed heavy emphasis on individual/fundamental work in camp to date.
