The injury that sidelined Byrd for Thursday's game is not the same as the ailment that forced him to have surgery last offseason, according to a team source. The injury also is not viewed as serious, the source said.

Well
If it isn’t serious, why are they scaring us and reporting that he might miss the first game? Out 3-4 weeks, is “serious” to me… Plus groin issues (all inuendos aside) are like turf toes, they seem to bug players all season.
I got nothing.

Something related to his groin… but not the same thing as last year.

Thank goodness for it not being serious, hopefully we have him back by week 2 of the regular season
abayarde- "I SAY this get ready cause the BUFFALO BILLS ARE COMING TO TOWN and I dont mean like Santa clause. WE will not Surrender this is were you all FALL The WHAGON BLASTER IS TAKING OFF AND YOU PUNKS are in our way, This wagon has no BREAKS so get ready for the ride of the life time"
Hopefully taking him out of the pre-season is just a precautionary move.
The coaches know that he’s the only superstar that we have. Heck might be our only star this year. So why even risk him aggravating his injury?
