Just from looking at the numbers for the last two weeks you can really seperate good QBs from mediocre, you see lines like Aaron Rodgers and it just speaks for itself this guy completes 8 passes for 116 so basically 120 thats an average/ completion of 15yds a pass, thats incredible, Trent im pulling for ya but never in his life could he amount to this.
Another key note: I mentioned him last week keep an eye on Anthony Dixon he made it 2 TDs in 2 weeks even though he didnt have the same production he still found the endzone 20 Carries for 51 Yds and a TD, this kid is gunna be a surprise to some people this year.
Luke McCown continues to make David Garrard work for that #1 spot in Jacksonville, and I know its only pre-season but the Cowboys don't look like the Cowboys right now struggling to put drives together, inconsistencies all over the field and Romo is really struggling. For all the knocks Kyle Orton takes this kid is starting to look like a starting QB in this league and good for him for getting that extension.
After comparing for 2 weeks, its definatley clear it pre-season, starting QBs getting limited snaps, its really interesting to look at some of the backups from other teams and see how they are performing, The list I put together is long enough, but you really start to see some kids makiing progress or maybe its just pure luck but some of them have put together decent games, Pittsburgh really has to be excitied about Dennis Dixon and if Roethlisberger doesnt straighten up I think they might flat out release him.
Let me know what you think about pre - season QB stats
