I've been stalking here for months now, but never posted yet, figure I'd start off with a bang. I hesitate to even bring this article up, due to the high emotions this topic brought on during the off-season, but it's worth discussing, if only to make us feel a **little** better about our situation.
According to Yahoo! Sports, the Browns could end up cutting McCoy. This news is, at the very least, intriguing. So my question to the Rumblers out there, would you be at all interested in the Bills making a move for him if he's cut? Lots of things to look at here. How much confidence do we put into the slightly promising displays we've seen from our QB's thusfar in the preseason? If McCoy is really having so much trouble with the transition that he can't even compete with Delhomme and SENECA WALLACE, do we even want him? If he's not ready to start now, does he have more potential than Brohm? Brown? Do we think the Bills coaching staff can bring out more production from him than the Browns staff?
Personally, I don't think we should bother. I'm cautiosly optimistic about what we've seen from our current guys so far. Trent's been showing some real quality with his decision making, and looks like his confidence is on the rise. Fitz showed some reasons to keep him around against Cleveland, and Brohm COULD end up being our future if he continues to improve as much as we've seen lately. But all that being said, I wanted to throw the idea out there and see what thoughts the Rumblers had. Have at it, but remember, it's my first post, be kind.
