I thought Jauron was bad, I was satisfied after this preseason after seeing some rational playcalling on O. But after today, I see the more things change, the more they stay the same.
It was definitely very hard to watch Chan's playcalling, it seemed as if he didn't even understand a formation besdies shotgun variations and an occaisional I formation.
The play calling was as just predictible as any Fairchild, Schonert, Van Pelt playcalling.
And until the 4th quarter, the majority of plays that were positive was with Trent under center, which was rarely used.
I hate to want to pull the plug, but after this game, I feel Gailey is a trojan horse.
At least George Edwards showed som form of competence.
I thought we would have a good O and lousy ST and D.
But it was the opposite, and since I know O best.
I arrive at the conclusion one more week like this one on offense, Chan must go. (Chan, there are other formations besides shotgun, You do understand that you can run the same plays out of different formations don't you? Apparently not this game. Sheesh, It's Fairchild, Schonert, Van Pelt all over again.
