Source: Eagles get calls on Kevin Kolb
The Philadelphia Eagles have received numerous calls about the availability of quarterback Kevin Kolb from several teams, according to a senior team official.
When asked Wednesday whether Kolb would be on the Eagles' roster after the Oct. 19 trade deadline, Eagles coach Andy Reid said, "Listen, I can't predict anything down that far, nobody in this league can do that."

Doesn't sound like a strong commitment from Reid right now.

Kolb
Is he a possible " target " for the Bill’s? What’s the scoop on Kolb?

Is this from the same source that said J. Bell was signed off our practice squad by the Eagles??? Bleacher Report just stated that the Bell signing hasn’t happened and they doubt that it will!!!!
As far as Bell goes
I work at a bar at University of Delaware, about 30 minutes south of Philly and Eldra Buckley comes in a lot because he has an apartment near Newark. He was in on Monday night and was talking about the Eagles signing another running back and being told he needed to be at practice early the following morning to go over extra film…Not saying that means anything, but I found it interesting considering I saw the Bell rumor earlier in the week.
As far as Kolb goes…I say offer a 2nd rounder, 6th rounder and Fitzpatrick and see what the Eagles say…Let him start against the Pats right away. Can’t be any worse than Trent has looked, even without a week of practice.

I personally say no, thats a bit much fora guy who really hasnt done anything yet.
The player I would like least at #9 would be my sister’s cat, Captain Creamsicle. She does have a great work ethic and agility, but I’m really concerned that at 9 lbs., she’s too small to play safety in the NFL. She also bites way too often on play action and is easily distracted by someone waving string in the crowd. Lastly, her wonderlic score was pretty awful, answering "meow meow meow" for most of the questions- Dr. Brackish Okun
I completely agree. The guy was benched. How much can he mean to Reid at the moment?

Bleacher Report got it wrong,
there are plenty of reports out of Philly it happened and they cut Baskett to make room for Bell.
Also the Bills signed someone to take his place.
There's not a wide receiver who is fast enough, that J.P. Losman can't overthrow him on a fly pattern.

Offer
- in 2011, #3 in 2012. For comparison, Houston paid 2 #2s for Shaub, worked out fine.
We’ve already spend 3 #1, an #2 and a #3 trying to replace Kelly. Why not?
I'd give them a 3rd in 2011
And a pick that could escalate to a 1st if certain statistical conditions are met.

Kolb
This just smacks of Rob Johnson,
Let’s just suck this year and get the best QB in next years draft.

His last name is terrible. He will fail as a QB. What i’ve just said makes no sense at all. That’s why it makes all the sense in the world.

Go for it
We can’t let the Rob Johnson experiment weigh us down. I see the glass half full, so I compare Kolb to Matt Shaub, Vick’s last backup.
