So is anyone else kind of excited for this game - in spite of themselves?
I don't know why I'm so pumped for this game. Let's run down the reasons why not to be pumped. There are so many.
-Watching the Patriots and N.E. System QB play makes me want to eat my arms.
-Our QB's completion percentage hovers around his Wonderlic score. Which is kind of cool, but makes for ugly football.
-Our "home run" first-rounder looks like a bunt.
-N.E. System QB disgusts me. I hate him. Take out Randy Moss and "the player" has 27 touchdowns in 2007 ... which happens to be right around his - sorry, the New England System's - season average. Moss rules.
-The only thing we're guaranteed in this game is a lack of spoon-out-your-eyeballs Kevin Faulk plays. Instead it'll probably be Julian Edelman.
-No pass rush. Nothing is more fun to watch than pass rush. Nothing is LESS fun to watch than your defense getting nothing on the opposing offensive line. Guys like Freeney, Allen, and now Matthews Jr. are the best part of football. Then you have our guys running around like kids against a patio door. Ugh...
-No pass protection. Just humiliating.
-No wide receivers.
-No tight ends.
-No wins.
-Wes Welker. All Randy Moss does - when he's not being a "slouch" - is beat his matchups and make plays. Sorry if I don't love Welker for tailgating at Moss's game.
-Maybin is a bummer. Not yet a bum, but still. I'd like to see the coaches just put him in there. Maybe he'll get beat, and a lot, but if he's got any salt he'll learn from the experience.
In short, this game is nearly everything I dislike about football. All this, and yet...
Somehow I'm still really excited about this game. How did this happen? I don't know, but I guess us Bills fans have something that can survive a decade of embarrassment. Some kind of secret toughness. Go Bills, and Go Bills Fans. I hate the Patriots. Here's hoping someone rips Brady's face off.
Just another great fan opinion shared on the pages of BuffaloRumblings.com.

too many other things to do today
Wasting time watching a 15 point dog isn’t my idea of a good Sunday afternoon. They will get beat by at least 20 today.

I love watching the Bills no matter how much of a dog they are.
Go Bills!

Totally pumped.
As suck as the Bills have been the last, well, 11 years, I still think they can win every Sunday. I wish the Bills believed that.
Totally Psyched
That’s why I’m crying right?
IF Kelsay has to cover Gronkowski and Whitner has to cover Welker coming across the middle. . . . It will be a really long day for the defense.

Let’s go Peay! Let’s go Peay!
I have seen women walk right past a TV set with a football game on and - this always amazes me - not stop to watch, even if the TV is showing replays of what we call a "good hit," which is a tackle that causes at least one major internal organ to actually fly out of a player's body.--Dave Barry
We CAN win!!!
McKelvin shadows Moss , and McGee on Welker, with Byrd backing up deep, Scott on whoever lines up at TE, and we have a great chance… Of course we also need to rattle Brady somehow, by blitzing just about every one else….
Went to my first "BB" meeting today... When I stood, introduced myself, and admitted I was a Billsaholic, the other members threw beer cans at me!!
Agree
Except that blitzing out of desperation always fails. And Mitchell was our best blitzer. :|
I’m ALWAYS excited for Bills football, regardless of how bad the team is.

Remember the back to back 2 win years?
I remember being able to change my seat at the stadium at the end of every quarter. 20 yard line lower seats…
I was actually present for two of the wins! I was pumped for them then, and I’ll always root for them. Thank God we have a nice site to vent all of our frustrations so our families don’t take all of it!
GO BILLS!

Our “home run” first-rounder looks like a bunt.
This would make Gailey the clueless rookie manager who calls for the bunt with nobody on base while his team is down by 10. I think if Gailey was 1/2 the offensive “guru” that people made him out to be, our offense wouldn’t look nearly ass offensive as it does.
But anyway, I’m still pumped for the game, as I am every game… and still hopeful we can finally end this dreadful losing streak to the patsies! GO BILLS!!!
