Question?? About Chan Gailey/Buddy Nix
First off, I just want to let everybody know that I do approve of how Coach Chan Gailey has handled his job so far. I also approve of the way our GM Buddy Nix has handled his end of the team. What I am curious about is what the fans of Buffalo would grade the two of them, you know, A, B, C, D, F. The poll that is posted on this site only gives fans the chance to answer weather or not they approve of their job, not what grade they think Gailey and Nix would receive. So, Bills Fans... Please let me know what you think. I appreciate it. Go Bills!!
Coach Gailey- (B+)
GM Nix- (B-)
Just another great fan opinion shared on the pages of BuffaloRumblings.com.

There is only one negative I hold against Buddy
IMO he failed to bring in a quality RT. I hope that Cornel Green proves me wrong, but it is my understanding that the first two attempts he wiffed at and the money on the table for Green should of landed a better option. Other than that he has built a solid foundation and Chan has given Jarmon Meredith alot of work this preseason.
Chan Gailey has prepared this team mentally that they can compete with anyone, even the fans to some extent. This was no easy task in it self. He still needs to put it on display.
Realizing that the playoffs are a long shot this year, a real long shot at this point, I give them both a B-. If we can stop the run on defense and if we can play a full 60 minutes on offense, I would be willing to raise the grade with the understanding that the playoffs are still a long shot.
YOU ARE OUT of you kuku fufu mine craker laker Flaber baber FUNKI chunki brain. WE want to winn every year -- abayarde
Nix & Gailey
Nix gets a C-, to many questions along OL. Chan gets a B-, waiting to see team performance under reg. season conditions to really grade his performance.

Also
Questions all over defense switching to 3-4 played into Nix’s grade as well.

Chan gets an A, Buddy gets a B
Chan has been the man. In my opinion, he’s done the most and more with what he’s had to work with. I’ve been extremely impressed with how he’s prepared and led the team thus far. Buddy has also done well, but he drops to a B because I consider Cornell Green a pretty weak pickup.
I may have scored a hundred points yesterday, but I scored a lot more off the court.
Chan Gailey = A
Buddy Nix = B-
I think Cornell Green is a stopgap for Jamon Meredith on the right side. I also think they fully believe Demetrius Bell could be the franchise LT. The problem is the lack of depth along the line this year. If things don’t pan out with the current line-up, they will be scrambling next year. They are taking a big risk.
I Give Them Both a B+
Why you ask?
Simple, they put together a plan and are sticking to it.
I expect this year to be a year of adjustments, but I firmly believe this team will be a lot more competitive than the pundits think, especially later in the year as the players grow into their “new shoes”.
I love the philosophy of developing a system to the players you have, not trying to force a round peg into a square hole like the previous staff did.
GO BILLS!
Chan B
Nix C
Looks like he hit a HR with spiller, but that was a really bizarre draft overall. Can’t judge it yet, but the early returns are strange. Everybody’s favorite late picks (Brown and Calloway) have already been cut, and the 2nd rounder hasn’t seen the field despite good reports from training camp.
I like Chan’s changes to the offense, but I need to see it agains real defenses before I believe it.
CJ Spiller: CJ stands for Chris Johnson.
I'll rate them like I was in Elementary School
Either S+ (Super Satisfactory)
S (Satisfactory)
S- :(Almost there dude, improve a little)
or N: (Needs improvement)
If you got an N- , then you were in big trouble.
No matter what your rating, the teacher got to write nasty comments in the remarks section if she wanted. “Tommy is a very smart boy, but talks too much in class and tries to be the class clown.” NOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!! I got good grades and still got screwed by the teacher! Not fair.
So, for this report card, Chan and Buddy, they both get an “S”. Second report card will be issued in four weeks.

From a C- to a wait and see
Annyong everyone!
Great question guy I don’t know.
Its hard to grade them seperately because I BILLieve that they made the majority of the roster decisions together, the biggest one being the decision to not bring in another QB. I certainly think they have a plan. I’m just not sure it’s going to work. The QB and Offensive Tackle situations are exactly the same as last year, and that’s not good, unless you BILLieve Chan can coach’em up. I have my doubts.
I’ve got to give them a C- going into the season. If Edwards and the Tackles impress throughout the season, that grade will go up.
