Growing up in "Downstate" New York and having the Jets and Giants shoved down my throat since I was in Diapers, it was always hard to be a Bills fan around these parts but one of the real reasons I became a Bills fan is that I loved the GRIT that the people of buffalo had, and demanded out of their team.
It's easy to live and play in a lot of cities in the NFL but to live and play in Buffalo, you have to have an extra layer of skin and I've always respected that. Don't get me wrong, I badly wanted Trent Edwards to succeed in Buffalo, but did he really look a QB with that extra layer of skin? No. I like Fitz's style of play but I'm not sure if he is a long term answer the Bills need.
I've read a lot of your posts and comments regarding this year's QB class, and your analysis on each of them. I've also read a lot about the 1st round busts and the 7th round studs at QB which leads me to ultimately believe that a team can prepare and analyze only so much, but at the end of the day, it's all a gamble.
So my question is; in your opinion, who is the best QB for Buffalo? What QB not only has the skills to make a great NFL QB, but also has that Grit to live and play in Buffalo? Tim Tebow reminded me of that guy, but I guess all of his other factors weren't so attractive.
Is there any in this draft class? If not, who do you think we should take a #3 and why?
