Fitpatrick played all four teams and shared a few nuggets on the defenses. "The Jets do the most stuff ... the Steelers aren't necessarily as exotic," Fitzpatrick said. Fitzpatrick emphasized that the Jets have to take advantage of the underneath stuff to win.

Regarding the Bears-Packers, Fitzpatrick said both defenses are very good. "The Bears defense is a bend but don't break defense. You have to be able to take advantage and convert on third down, and then score touchdowns instead of field goals," Fitzpatrick said.

Fitzpatrick talked about Buffalo coach Chan Gailey saying Fitzpatrick was the Bills' quarterback of the future.

"For me it's exciting to have an entire offseason ... or whatever offseason we're going to have ... to get ready for next season," Fitzpatrick said.

Fitzpatrick also said that he no longer has the big beard. "I trimmed it up the day after the season," Fitzpatrick said.
