Mock (Dream?) Draft - Pre Super Bowl!

Was sitting staring at the ol' PC for a while, when my mind started wandering. This is what I came up with.

OK, this is complete with trades which may or may not be crazy. I am also not very familiar with this whole 'trade value chart' that I've seen bandied about here and plenty of other sites. So the trades detailed below may be completely off the wall. Anyway, in my dream, the Bills are particularly shrewd and (gasp!) active, moving about the draft with impunity. Here is a quick summary of what I imagined Buddy and the Gang could do on draft day (of course, by next week, I might be thinking something completely different):

Bills Trade with Tennessee (to acquire Gabbert):

#3 pick -># 8, # 39, and # 108

Bills Trade with Houston (to acquire Amukamura):

#8 pick -> # 11, #73, #104

Bills Trade Lee Evans and Pick #99 to Houston for Pick # 42

Bills Trade with St. Louis (to acquire Julio Jones)

#11 pick ->#14, #78, and #111

Bills Trade Picks # 34 and #104 to Seattle to get back into the first round at Pick #25

I know. Lots going on, AND they trimmed some more cap space by getting rid of Lee's $4+ million in 2011-2012 and letting Whitner go (resigned Poz, but removed 'coverage' from his contract requirements). So, below are two schools of thought as to how they might allocate these picks...School A (on the left) and School B (you know).

After trades, the Bills now have either:

#14: Cameron Jordan DE/Ryan Kerrigan DE/OLB

#25: Nate Solder LT/Gabe Carimi RT

#39: Jonathan Baldwin WR/Allen Bailey DE

#42: Greg Jones ILB/Pat Devlin QB

#68: Jeremy Beal OLB/Luke Stocker TE

#73: Andy Dalton QB/Tyler Sash SS

#78: Marcus Cannon OG/Quan Sturdivant ILB

#108: Lance Kendricks TE/Orlando Franklin OG

#111: Ahmad Black SS/Austin Pettis WR

Crazy, right? But wouldn't it be cool? If the Bills only hit on oh, 5 of these 9 guys (I know, a HUGE stretch) that would be sorely needed influx of talent. Add a couple depth/ST guys...you're starting to put something together here. One more year...or, if there is a lockout, we have stockpiled enough talent in this draft that we can move up and draft Luck NEXT year from the #3 spot!

Just another great fan opinion shared on the pages of BuffaloRumblings.com.
