So now we know Tom Modrak, doesn't have the last word. Nix seems to be the man with the final plan. Well, he'd better make it count. This past season the Bills have been called a "team that doesn't quit", and others have said "they just keep fighting no matter what". Don't get me wrong you want team that doesn't quit and you want them to keep on fighting. However, the same thing was said about the Bills under Jauron. (none of us want to real live that circus)
Gailey seems to be a good coach and better teacher, but the fact remains that this team lacks one thing. Talent! with a capital T. You can coach em up all you want, but even Lombardi wouldn't have won anything if his teams lacked talent. The fact is that if the teams you face have more talent than you, it usually results in losing. In the Bills case the gap is growing larger each year, but, all of that can change my friends, if the right decisions are made on draft day.
This draft is very important as the all are, but this one is the most important because it's the next draft. If the Bills select quality players in the first 4 rounds (including a second 4th round pick) you'll notice in the W column quickly. So I don't care if Billy Buffalo or one of the Jills make the selections on April 28th and 29th, They'd better make the right ones.
I might be biased, but I've always thought Reed was better than Irving, Brown, and Carter.
