I was watching the Senior Bowl yesterday and heard one of the announcers mention that he talked with Chan Gailey about running QBs.  The quote was something like this..."The question is whether or not you want to be ahead or behind the wave. Be cause the wave is coming."  So essentially Chan is saying that running QBs are going to be the wave of the future.  And it certainly sounds like he wants to be ahead of the wave and not behind it.

Is there anything to this, or just predraft talk?  I have a feeling that this is really how Chan feels and he's looking for his 'running QB' to be ahead of the wave.  Not sure if this means Newton/Gabbert in the first or someone like Kaepernick/Dalton later.  But that quote definitely has me thinking that Cam Newton/Blaine Gabbert are even more probable picks than I thought before.
