His antics have been awful...
…but he is a winner.
I’d lean more toward taking our chances with Fitz next year and hopefully a QB of the future (Luck please God please) after that, but if he goes to Miami and beats the Bills twice a year for 8 years, I’d look stupid…
Close
but he is a winner.
he is a Whinner….fixed it for you. VY is the perfect nickname for him…..of course the “V” doesn’t stand for Vince :-0
With the 3rd pick in the draft, the Bills select ?????..... a player who is destine to underperform or be a flat out BUST.
Really?
I trust HC at Tenn. He’s by all indications worked with VY. for yrs. To no avail. Time to move on, but please not Buffalo. Let’s create our own drama , no sense in inviting it!
Players names keep changing, but our team needs remain the same. QB or bust 2011! And hey, can we get a little O/L help, please!!
Chan might like him
Chan likes mobile QBs. I am not a big fan though. Is Tyler Thigpen a FA yet?
I think everyone “likes” moblie QBs. I believe Chan Gailey has found himself in situation after situation where his starter was mobile (not counting Troy Aikman).

Meh
I used to hold firm on the belief that we were going to build through the draft but the Bills have done a lot with FA’s this past year. I wouldn’t rule him out of the discussions at OBD but I doubt he’s the future of the franchise even if he does head to Buffalo. I like him as a #2 better than Brohm but I don’t think he’ll like backup $ in whatever his new contract is given his track record (which is slightly worse than how I saw Jason Campbell last year given their supporting casts but he did win some games)
Circle them wagons!
In the era of a 7 round draft...
it’s impossible to build “only” through the draft…. 53 players, divided by 7, would take 7 1/2 years, and that’s if you hit 100% on every player, and then keep every player under contract…
Went to my first "BB" meeting today... When I stood, introduced myself, and admitted I was a Billsaholic, the other members threw beer cans at me!!
Go for it...
I would have no problem with the Bills putting in a claim for VY. With Chan’s history of working with less talented QB’s and making them productive —this could be a steal. Coach Fisher didn’t want to draft Young not that Young didn’t have his problems.
Signing him would let the Bills concentrate on other areas..

NOOOOO!!!
Please for the love of everything good…….DO NOT GET VINCE!! i live in Nashville, TN and I have been telling all my Titan fan friends that VY in VERY immature and is not accurate at all (and never has been). They all argued with me until the last few years. VY is NOT the Bills savior by any means. Much rather see Fitz at the helm.
No thank you
A successful NFL QB has to be a good leader and one of the hardest working guys on the team. By all indications, Vince Young is neither of those, pass. VY seems to seems he uses his athleticism and natural abilities to get to about 85% of his ceiling, but can’t put the rest (mental, social, pressure) together to become elite, and isn’t taking well to being coached/ working for it.
Even though Gailey is known as a guy who can get a lot out of whichever QB he is working with, VY doesn’t seem like the type of personality he’s succeeded with in the past. Gailey succeeds with the hardworking overlooked guys and not the underacheiving guys. You could have the physical tools but you have to buy in, work hard, and be a leader/example or Gailey won’t put in the time, see Fitz/ Moats/ D. Nelson/ F Jax/ …Kelsay over Maybin/ Hardy/ S. Nelson/ Lynch. It’s a pretty strong correlation, and I don’t think Gailey and VY would coexist.
I could def. see VY going to Miami though, and I admit that despite everything I just ragged on him about it scares me a little.
How does he play in winter weather?
That’s what i’d like to know.

This has to be the Dolphins trying to pull nother Culpepper.
I see absolutely no reason why the Bills should have any interest in trading for Vince young. The kid is a mental case.

Tim Graham
I would say what I think about Tim Graham’s insights, but it doesn’t go over well here. Hey it only took a day for him to be wrong about Sporano.
Ryan FitZpatrick - The Inconvenient Truth.
I would give him a shot if the price was right. You add Fitz’s ability to read a defense and you got what everyone thought vince could be

Please do not believe everything you hear about VY
Jeff Fisher has throw VY and others under the bus he has history of that.
Last season Fish went 0-6 till owner made him play VY.
Than we went 8-2 and saved the 2009 season .
Jeff has undermine VY since he was drafted the owner wanted VY not Fisher.
Please read the article about this.
