With Bills out of it, rooting for the Saints...How about you?

Yesterday, one of my coworkers read the news about Chris Ivory and Pierre Thomas being placed on the Saints IR list. They were joining Lynell Hamilton and Ladell Betts. That's a lot of running Backs for a team to lose right before the playoffs. That meant they were  left with Reggie Bush, a player that can gain a lot of yards, which is great... unless most of those yards are side to side, which has been the case with Bush as of late. Then she said "oh great, they picked up some guy named Jokey Bell or something"  "Whoe, Stop the presses" I thought! That's right y'all, Joique Bell is a saint! Signed off the Eagles just in the nick of time for the Saints game against Seattle! Personally, I was miffed to see him go. I was happy for him at the time though.(compared his pick up by the Eagles to someone escaping the island on Lost) Anyway, I assured her that her team will be in good hands this weekend(Don't make me eat my words Bell)Anyway, that got me wondering,  Are there any teams out there my fellow Rumblers are rooting for in the playoffs? and, if so, why?

Just another great fan opinion shared on the pages of BuffaloRumblings.com.

I dont really have any favorites this year

Its kinda weird. Im looking forward to some of the matchups, but I could care less in most situations who comes out. Id like to see Baltimore do well, but wont feel bad if they are eliminated. The same with Vick.

And thats great news for Joique! Wish we wouldve lasted with us, especially after the Lynch trade

RAVENS!!!!!!!!!!!

And I have a slight urge to see the Pats win again just because to say you were alive to honestly see one of the true dynansties in sports is truly amazing.

And to be honest as long as the Jets or Steelers dont win the SB im going to be the happiest peerson on the planet.

I’m having a hard time wrapping my head around the thought that Marshawn “Dance and Prance” Lynch is going to the playoffs on the crappy 7-9 Seahawks. Life is not fair.

And for their first pick in the 2011 draft the Buffalo Bills select ...........

So we have

Bell vs Lynch in the playoffs.

Just a bit surreal.

by Buffalo for Eternity on Jan 7, 2011 8:19 AM EST reply actions

pretty cool

joique bell is on the Saints roster for the entire playoffs. Good for the kid, he logged some frequent flyer miles didn’t he.

Go Saints

Awesome city and awesome people!! … although my girlfriend wouldn’t allow me to go to all the bars on Bourbon Street!!

Eagles.

Theyre the most exciting team in football to watch. But if they lose to GB then its them… because Rodgers is my favorite non-Bill in the NFL.

Lets Go Buff a lo!!!

I’m rooting for Atlanta. They’re under-the-radar and blue collar. If there’s a playoff team that Buffalo can emulate as they re-build, it’s the Falcons. I like watching their no-name team (for the most part) play.

Packers.

Brett Favre was one of my favorite players for years and they are my Dad’s team. I enjoy watching Mathews play. I don’t really hate any team that’s in the playoffs so it should be a fun year to watch.

I keep it small market

Go K.C. and if they lose, then give me anybody playing the Jets. I live an hour outside NY city and Jets fans are total clowns. In the NFC I’ll take Green Bay.

I'm rooting against the Jets!

I’d like to see the Falcons/Steelers in the SB.

I jumped on the Saints bandwagon last season.

Brees is such a high character guy and they simply win.

there is no team I really like this year but I love Peyton Manning so I’ll probably be happy if the Colts do well

i’m sure i’m going to regret this conversation… but what the hell - J2

I'm hoping he gets another ring,

so people will stop bringing up the fact he only has 1 superbowl as some sort of knock against him that he’s not one of the greatest qb’s ever to play the game.

I'm rooting for...

Whoever plays the Jets and whoever plays the Patriots. If they face each other in the 2nd round, I’ll just pretend football season is over.

Seahawks

I wouldn’t mind seeing a 7-9 team win the Super Bowl. And I enjoy rooting for the Underdog.

Ravens

Because I like to stick with the AFC, and they are the team in the conference I like the most out of those teams (process of elimination). Also for the same reason BG stated above about the Falcons, but if there is a team I’d like to see the Bills emulate, it would be the Ravens.

Anyone but the Pats.

Im rooting for the Eagles......

I love the story of Mike Vick coming back. It shows that no matter what you been through or what you put yourself through you can come back and make things right
