Watching the Fox pregame show and Jay Glazer said that the Saints would have offered a 3rd rounder for Lynch, but the Bills never followed-up.  Can anyone confirm this?  If so, that would certainly be a black eye to the Nix / Gailey administration.  Also doesn't help the Bills reputation among the league:  the Fox sports anchor, after hearing the report, joked "...and that's why the Bills are still the Bills".
