Around SBN: The Most Dangerous Division in Sports

At the end of the day...

Do statistics really matter? We have endured seasons of losses, heartbreaks and downright dismal play. Now that we have some wins, do the stats matter?

Star-divide

After wide right, Wade Phillips sitting down Flutie in lieu of Rob Johnson, Trent Edwards and all the other disappointments the Bills and us as fans have endured, I would say that stats are nice... one can gauge a team orb a players performance using them. We can sit and ponder the yards per game, YAC, QB rating or whatever else... we can look at passes defended, opponents yards per game, yards per carry, points allowed or whatever else, but other than fantasy, all that matters in the end is the WIN. The most important statistic is the almighty victory.

So let us all enjoy the wins we have and remember that all though we lost some Superbowls, and we had a running back that lost a helmet... we are finally winning!!!! I hope some of you agree... so vote your conscience.

Just win baby!

Wins are nice, but we should lead the league in multiple statistical categories.

I want to see players make a name for themselves and bring attention to the franchise.

win and the rest

will take care of itself…..

is it not the height of irony, and a sign of how clueless most
so called professional observers are, that this preseason was
described by the longest standing local journalistic voice of the
buffalo news, larry felser, on august 28th, as one in “chaos” with
less hope and more doom and gloom than he could ever remember
in all his years as a bills commentator….

and not one of the lead full time reporters on the news gave the bills
more than 5 or 6 games to win, because they stunk and the schedule
was supposedly too tough…..

how could anyone want anything more than the bills to shut these
idiots up, these guys who get paid to pay attention and they were
so deep in the clueless weeds they were totally out of touch with what
was happening at OBD.

in contrast, on the first preseason tv broadcast, steve tasker said, that
privately the bills management and coaching staff were very optimistic
and felt the team had a chance to be very good.

how is it possible that tasker gets access to their true thoughts and none
of the news writers has a clue?

love watching sullivan write columns now and hope he is forced to keep
writing about the team he never saw coming……….
