First time I fell in love with Freddie!

Flashback: 2007 preseason Fred's 2nd year in Buffalo.  First year spent on Practice Squad.  4th preseason game ( I think, forget team they played, but think it was the Lions).  Fred's playing during garbage time in the 4th quarter.  Balls on the 5, its how ever many and goal, and Freddie gets a pitch left and he is getting to the corner with a defensive player gaining ground.  Looking like a sure tackle , Fred takes his right arm and gives a huge stiff arm right in the guys grill and scampers into the Endzone!!!!TOUCHDOWN!!!! The play made it on ESPN's top ten plays for the next day.  I remember watching that play and thinking there is something to this Jackson guy.  I'm routing for this guy, I hope he makes the team. He did make the team, and watching him make plays in limited action those first few years, I always wished they would give him a shot and give him 25 touches a game because just felt he could be the man. It's satisfying this year watching him get that chance and finally blossoming into that player we always envisioned he would be.  That play back in 2007 is when I became a Freddie Jackson fan.  Do you remember it? or if you could pin point a moment when you became a fan of Fred. When was it?

Just another great fan opinion shared on the pages of BuffaloRumblings.com.
