Help Us Help You (And Others)
See that picture right there? That was BuffaloRumblings.com as it existed in April of 2008 - just days before the Buffalo Bills drafted Leodis McKelvin in the first round of the 2008 NFL Draft. Looks quite different, no?
Buffalo Rumblings and SB Nation have evolved since that point in time thanks largely to user input. We're trying to build the best sports platform out there for fans; obviously, to accomplish that, we need to know what fans want. Therefore, I'd like to ask everyone here to donate 10 minutes of their time to taking a survey for SB Nation.
SBN has agreed to donate $500 to select charities in the name of each of the three network blogs with the highest percentage of reader participation in this survey. That means that if enough of you help us figure out how best to deliver you sports news, the company will donate that money to a charity of our choice. You're helping yourselves and you might be helping those in need. What's not to like about that deal?
You can take the survey right here. It is, of course, completely optional.

TWSS....
and sorry folks, but I’m going for a new TWSS record on this one :-)
What the hell happened in Cincy???? It looked like the Bills bodies made the flight, but they left their souls to party on the Whagon Blaster.
If you ask a question you don't want an answer to, expect an answer you don't want to hear.
It takes more than a minute IF you type in information. For me it was 12 minutes.
A couple things to add:
- Question 8 said to check all that apply, or something to that effect, but would not let me leave the page until I checked a box on each line.
- A few questions should have had “never” or “N/A” as an option.
.
When the job is finished no one remembers how long it took, just how well it was performed.

Even in 2008,
Buffalo Bills fans loved trading down in the draft!

and for the record
I hate animated ads and especially ones that have audio. They pop up unexpectedly and get you busted at work, which in turn really ticks me off and makes me MUCH LESS likely to buy whatever they are selling. Also, ads that block the content I am trying to look at and pop back up even after I close them are annoying as well. Not saying all this types of ads happen here….just would like to keep it that way.

Is there a question where we get to vote on keeping Billy the Buffalo or terminating him for something a whole lot better?
Maybe the guy with the mad skills that made the awesome video before the Oakland game can make it happen.

Billy the Buffalo is the official mascot of the Buffalo Bills.
Our logo will forever be referred to as Brian the Buffalo after our fearless founder.

Nobody refers to it as such, and it shall stay that way.

Not trying to be the turd in the punch bowl, but your not really helping anyone unless the Phinsider’s charity is the West Palm Beach Golf and Tennis Club.

Uh, what?
If we finish in the Top 3, we’ll run a poll asking y’all which charity we want the donation to go to. You know, like Kids Escaping Drugs, or something like that.
I have absolutely no clue what The Phinsider has to do with anything.

Jokingly, I meant the money’s going to charity no matter what. Helping direct it toward one charity and away from another via helping SBNation conduct their market research isn’t exactly something people should feel a sense of accomplishment about; at least not in the sense of actually donating time or money.

Done and Done. Survey wasn’t too long guys and gals, and your time goes to charity…..what could be better?
We should ALL participate and donate the money to a charity in Buffalo or to re-signing Stevie!

PAIN IN THE BUTT- SURVEY FAIL!!
Stupid survey, I filled out all the questions and it still wasn’t satisfied. Kept saying the question requires an answer, well here’s my reply: LATER FOR THAT GARBAGE!

I can’t follow this site on my phone. The add to join covers half the screen, and I can’t hit the “x” as it constantly moves :(

Chris Kelsay is a good football player.
Please no intrusive ads!
I’m fine with the ones we have now (sidebar, and the sponsored articles), but if you put up video ads or ones that drop down and take up a full screen right when you get on the site (espn.com style) that’ll really stink.
In other news though, that survey was fine. I always appreciate the chance to brag about the rumblings community.
Bring it on down to PEGULAVILLE!

This.
Ads that pop up are enough to make me stop visiting web sites. The only time I go to NFL.com now (besides sundays for gamecenter) is to check their stats section, and even then I bypass the main page with advertising by going through google.

Well let me say I haven’t been able access this site with any kinda consistency for quite a while. I get booted out or get a check connection issue everytime I try to log on. I’m a big fan of the Bill’s but tired of constant “connection issues” pains me to say I’ve reach my limit of futility trying to access my fav. website. Thanks for the great posts, later. Go Bill’s!!

I took it. If my blog disappeared tomorrow, I’d miss being able to share the great convos we have here. Nobody I work with or know is as knowledgeable as the people here.
