Well another week and another sub-par performance with my picks.  I went an unspectacular 5-5 last week. Started the season pretty hot...starting to cool.  I am at 46-32-5 on the season. Let's recap last week:

BUF-1.5: (L) That's enough...no need to talk about this bet.

SF-3.5: (W)

KC-4: (L) Thought they'd at least show up at Arrowhead...what a blowout.

STL+3: (L) This should have at least been a push. OT TDs are just so uncommon. 

GB-6: (W) started to get a bit nervous with this one

NE-8.5: (L) at least the NYG won outright.  Once I knew covering the -9 (where I got it) wasn;t gonna happen, I had a sneaking suspicion that the Brady bunch would rub salt in the wound by winning and not covering (thus costing me $ and hurting the Bills)

My (early) plays:

SD-7: I'm going to go with SD trying to resurrect their season here.  We all know they are late starters, but I think they are also dealing with less talent than in years past...but I like 'em in this spot to cover the seven at home coming off a tough loss.  If I rated my plays on here (like many do) this would be a 1* play

JAX-3: Suck for Luck is in full effect...team has quit on the season.  On the other side of the ball JAX is playing tough defense trying to prove themselves and keep their coach off the hot seat.

BUF+5.5: What do you want...I am a total homer here.  But, hey, it's a Bills online community!  Regardless, Buffalo is 5-2-1 against the spread this year!

CAR-3.5: I like them coming off the bye here.

MIA-4: I like Miami to go in and whoop the skins like everyone else.

CHI-3: Chicago is playing amazing football and they need this win to try and become a legit player in the NFC North.

NE+1.5: I said last week, Tom Brady doesn't lose two in a row...well he certainly won't lose three in a row!

MIN@GB OVER 51: I like a shoot-out on Monday night.

I'll probably end up playing a could more...I am on the fence re: Cin+3, ATL-PK, SF-3.5
