It's Tuesday, which means that weekly NFL power rankings are starting to be published. The Buffalo Bills have lost two straight games and four of their last six, which means that they're still falling in weekly NFL power rankings.
Of the five major polls that we've been keeping track of this year, the Bills don't rate any higher than No. 16, where both FOXSports.com's Brian Billick and the voters at NFL.com have them. ESPN.com has them at No. 17, while Mike Florio of ProFootballTalk.com puts them at No. 18. SI's Peter King, who only ranks the Top 15 teams in the league, doesn't have the Bills ranked.
Just two weeks ago, the Bills were a consensus Top 10 team - and comfortably so. After two straight embarrassing losses to 5-4 football teams, they're on the verge of falling out of the range of mediocrity.
As for next week's opponent, the 2-7 Miami Dolphins - winners of two straight - they rate, respectively, at Nos. 27, 27, 29, 28 and unranked.
