"Losman Hasn't Forgotten His Time In Buffalo"
Well, I sure as hell have tried to . . .

It’s actually a good article. No bitterness on his end and says he loves the city of Buffalo. I feel bad for the guy, but I’m glad he’s gone. He seemed to want to succeed very badly, but couldn’t get out of his own way.

I agree
Classy guy. I always liked him, but he just couldn’t put it all together.

I’ve always liked Losman. I think he was coached poorly. The man could play, he just made poor decisions. Glad he enjoyed the city.

I know injury isnt an excuse
but knee injury on Losman and concussion on Edwards, both seemed to happen as those guys were emerging.

We need a cross between the two. Edwards felt pressure that wasn’t there and dumped it down, and Losman was incapable of feeling pressure and ALWAYS wanted to go big. That play against the Jets (you know the one) summarizes Losman’s time nicely (at least the bad parts of his time). I also feel that coaching ruined them both. Edwards was coached to not screw it up and never moved beyond that. Sad, sad, sad.

oh yes I know that Losman play
I was at that game, walking out of the Meadowlands was brutal after that one.
You get the impression that Losman with a Gailey type coach could have been a deadly combo.
I agree with your assessment of the two of them.
Since I try to remember the good times, I will say that the Losman-Evans connection was pretty sweet.

Always Like JP
He always worked hard and did the right things. He just didn’t produce in Buffalo and made some all-too-memorable on-field mistakes.
Good guy. Wish him success following this weekends game in Miami.

Yup. He really liked being a Bill and living in Buffalo.
Not everyone makes it, that’s for sure.
At least he didn’t burn out like Leaf, JaWalrus, A. Smith, etc, etc, etc.
I wish him well.
