Bills vs. Jets Injury Report: George Wilson, Naaman Roosevelt Out
The Buffalo Bills will be without safety George Wilson for the second consecutive week when they take on the New York Jets this weekend and a few others will be joining him on the sidelines.
In addition to the loss of Fred Jackson, who was placed on Injured Reserve earlier this week with a leg fracture, wide receiver Naaman Roosevelt (shoulder) has been ruled out for this weekend's game. In his place will be Kamar Aiken, who was elevated from the practice squad when Donald Jones was placed on injured reserve
David Nelson, who had been limited while continuing to overcome the illness that drained the wideout last week, practiced fully on Friday as did Stevie Johnson who is dealing with a shoulder injury. Nelson and Johnson are listed as probable as is tackle Demetrius Bell. Despite being healthy once again, Bell will remain on the bench in favor of rookie Chris Hairston at left tackle. Having some depth on the offensive line is something the Bills have been sorely lacking.
In addition to Wilson (neck), kicker Rian Lindell (shoulder) was also ruled out for this weekend's game. He was on the practice field Thursday and Friday which signifies he could be close to a return. Da'Norris Searcy will start in place of Wilson for the second consecutive week while Dave Rayner will substitute for Lindell a week after booting two field goals against the Dolphins.

I think I’d rather see Kamar Aiken ahead of Martin. Martin has done nothing in his career, at least we could be pleasantly surprised by Aiken.
Chris Brown mentioned that as a possibility.

Agreed. Aiken also has an outside chance at being an outside receiver, so its best to get him involved in as many plays as possible.

Have to hope that Chandler can have a career game X 2.

With so many receivers down
We won’t be able to scheme our way out of this one.
We will actually have to ask our guys to beat there guys one on one. Perish the thought.
Chan Gailey once won a game as OC of the Steelers when they had one true WR.

Feels like the Bills are fielding their JV team at this point

Arguably, our best 4 players are out (Jackson, Williams, Wood, Wilson)
4 of our 6 receivers that made the roster are out (Jones, Parrish, Easley, Roosevelt)
Arguably, our best OLB is out (Merriman)
Arguably, our best corner is out (McGee)
And the only guys that I’ve named that will come back this season are Wilson and Roosevelt.

Don't forget Lindell
We’d be 7-3 if he hadn’t gotten hurt, for sure
This is great...
I was legitimately looking forward to seeing #18 on the field for the first game televised in the area this season… supposedly, anyway; the schedule has it listed as of yesterday despite a Jacksonville game being at the same time, and I’m pretty sure they’re not hosting an NFC team. Instead…
Well, actually, this is going to be a game where if we score two touchdowns we’ll be inducing shock and awe among all the experts, and weirdly I think we’ll get two and some kicks. Tell you the truth, if Dareus and Moats, and obviously Searcy and A-Wil, step up and harass Sanchez and company, that might be enough. Pretty big if, though.

We have them right where we want them!
The Jets have beaten the Bills pretty bad 4 times in a row now. But this time they don’t have the advantage of seeing us on film, yes we are the same team, same formations, but almost completly new presonel. Center, reciever, running back, safety, left tackle, slot reciever, left guard, kick returner, punt returner, cornerback, middle linebacker, outsidelinebacker, nickle back, even FG kicker, who knows the way things are going for this team maybe more by game day or even game time! The point is this could be a Blessing in disguise, a fresh outlook, new formations have to be taken seriously. on the other hand we know who they are, what they like and how they’re most likely going to attack and defend us. like I said we have them right where we want them. Go Bills!
