Buffalo Bills trying to get a handle on their season | Democrat and Chronicle
"When practice concluded in the fieldhouse on One Bills Drive Wednesday, the Bills huddled up at midfield as they always do for some final words from coach Chan Gailey. Whatever Gailey said, it must have been good because it broke the place up and there was loud laughter before the team yelled 'Bills' and headed to the locker room."
Collapse of '08 has company as worst in recent memory - Jerry Sullivan
"OK, it's worse than '08. Someone forgot to cue up 'Won't Get Fooled Again' when the Bills pulled out those three remarkable victories at the Ralph and became the darlings of the NFL. Even with the defense giving up yards in historical chunks, we felt this team was different, that it was immune to a full-blown collapse."

Rodney McKissic goes over the transition from Fred Jackson to C.J. Spiller, which begins today.

Noticed that there was nothing up after Web Rumblings yesterday. Sorry about that, folks – it appears that I had three scheduled posts disappear on me. Didn’t get in front of a computer until this AM. Won’t happen again!

Figured it was the big Letchworth celebration !
It was Cookie's turn to lead the "easiest exercise" during the Monday practice after a game-- he said-- "we're going to do deep breathing--everybody inhale--dehale "---As told by Jack Kemp at my high school sports banquet circa 1966.
That was part of it. The other part is getting ready to move.

I feel like Sullivan has the Fitzpatrick extension/.blame fore the offensive woes about as accurate as possible. Fitzpatrick can play in this league, but due to putrid personnel, defenses have been easily able to take away what the Bills are good at doing once they figured out what that was (quick reads over the middle to mask an awful offensive line and a lack of outside receivers). The personnel on this team is truly bottom rung and I fear it’s only further eroding due to the likely swing and miss that was the 2010 draft. The team will need to add talent at wide receiver and the offensive line in the offseason to give them an ability to diversify their passing game which they cannot due given the current personnel. The problem is that the defense needs multiple pass rushers and multiple corner backs as well. It’s going to be a tough job and closing the door on all avenues other than executing the draft picks in hand will be insufficient. Trading up, down, free agents, trading for vets…it should all be on the table.

Line of scrimmage
last game we were owned on both sides. Fought hard in the first half but could never gain any momentum. Today needs to be different. Physical. The demise started here with the jets and it needs to end here with the jets. It has gotta start up front on both sides of the ball.
YOU ARE OUT of you kuku fufu mine craker laker Flaber baber FUNKI chunki brain. WE want to winn every year -- abayarde
Today needs to be the end of the slip for Buffalo.
The Bills need to come out and play smash-mouth football on both sides of the ball. If we’re running a 4-3 I’m looking for Kelsay to play up on the line and get in Sanchize’s face as much as possible. If it’s a 3-4 I want to see Barnett stuffing the run and playing the middle.
These guys need to play cohesively and show the NFL they’re not the push overs that they’ve been the past 3 weeks. On another note this is a sentimental game for me, the last Bills v Jets game at the Ralph was the first time my little brother and I went to a game together AND 87009287 from my Air Base did the fly over. Needless to say that got me PUMPED only to see the Bills lose in atrocious fashion.
Let’s pull a win! Let’s go Buffalo!
Release the kracken!
