Three weeks ago today, the 5-2 Buffalo Bills took to the field at Ralph Wilson Stadium - sporting their all-white uniforms at home for the first time in 25 years - set to begin a critical four-game stretch that would begin and end with the New York Jets.
The stretch began that day with a 27-11 loss to those Jets at home. Now, three weeks later, the critical stretch concludes with a trip to the Meadowlands to take on those same Jets - and the Bills' once-promising 2011 season is hanging in the balance.
Buffalo has been out-scored 106-26 in the last three weeks, and now they face a must-win contest against a Jets team that has also lost two in a row, has the same 5-5 record, and is just as desperate for a win as Buffalo is. Add in home-field advantage and the strong precedent for domination that the Jets have shown over the past two seasons, and it's tough to predict a Bills win today. My prediction: Jets 31, Bills 10.
But that's just my prediction. What's yours? Anyone out there legitimately believe that the Bills can go in and beat the Jets today?
