I think lost in the drop and the celebration has been the fact that over two games, Stevie Johnson has 11 catches for 159 yards against Revis. I wish there was a way to easily look up all receivers' production against Revis, but Revis routinely shuts down the best in the game and those are remarkable numbers. I see a lot of comments like "Stevie's not a number one receiver" (lots of these before the Jets game in fact) but I think his performances against Revis have shown that he absolutely can be.
Not only is succeeding against Revis a measuring stick for Stevie's abilties, but it's especially important because the Bills need to start beating the Jets. Part of the Jets' defensive success (not that they've had it this year so much) is relying on Revis to shut down the opponent's best receiver and Stevie's shown this year that Revis can't shut him down. I think this will be huge in the next few seasons and it was great to see on Sunday.
