thoughts on #56

Guys theres is no doubt in my mind that bringing back merriman next year is a great move. When are beloved team was doing its thing in the first 7 games of the season,we made it on nfl replay 4 times.. And ive seeen those games atleast 3 times each. NE,Oak, and philly. And i came to the conclusion number 56 made a significant diffrence on our defense. There is no doubt he lost a step because in pursuit he was a little slower and coming around the edges. but when he bull rushed he was efffective and also setting that edge in the run game. one particular play was against oak at the goaline he mad a terrific play shedding the guards block and eating up the fb lead block. great play great stop. something that kelsay, johnson, batten, moats, coleman. have not even come close todoing. in the pass rush department, the opposing lineman they looked out to see where 56 was lining up maybe not much beacuse of his play but the rep. he garnered attention. and in those games i thought in my def of wat holding is he was held quite a few times. in oak i saw atleast 3 holds and in NE i saw a couple more. he was moving those tackles back big time. something i havent seen from any of hour lbs since the redskin games. in conclusion #56 might not be dominent agian. but he is alittle above averege and def the best olb we have on this team. he brought leadership and alittle swag and quiet frankly he brought us Nick barnett who by the way is having a great season, probowl worthy.who knows who he can bring us next year. your thoughts rumblers i would love to know!!
