Bills vs. Dolphins Predictions: Can Buffalo End Six-Game Skid?

The Buffalo Bills will take the field to host the Miami Dolphins in two hours. They'll do so riding a six-game losing streak, but also facing a team playing its first game under an interim head coach (Todd Bowles) after their former head coach (Tony Sparano) was fired. A marquee matchup this is not.

On November 20, these two teams technically played a football game in Miami, but only the Dolphins really showed up, as they lambasted the Bills 35-8 in what was 60 minutes of physical domination. Some light, pretty sad trash talk has ensued between the two teams, and the Bills have been trying to drum up the redemption card all week.

What is everyone expecting from the game today? Anything you're looking for in particular? I'd like to see a stronger effort from C.J. Spiller this week, and I'd like to see experimentation defensively - even if they lose. On the field, I'm expecting a low-scoring, ugly affair, and I like the Dolphins to win this one by a final of 16-10. Make your predictions, folks!

Hmmmmmmmmm

What Bills players are going to show up today? That’s the question.

They have to win this one, don’t they? At home, in front of fans.
This is for pride.

I’d like to see the Bills run the ball at least 25 times. We always abandon the running game way to quickly

23-20 fins

Id like Fitz to be able to throw the ball well, to our team. Id like Stevie to have a nice game, also CJ to run hard vs the 3rd ranked rush D.

Dareus, A Williams or Sheppard will create a turnover today.

Come on Buffalo, please?

Yes sir.

I want it to be Williams. He should have had a pick vs Tenn but dropped it.

if they all generate a turnover

Im deferring to you for all future predictions!

If one of them does its still a great call regardless. The Bills have been so boring to watch recently I thank you for giving me something to watch and cheer for bflo haha

As a longhorn fan I will tell you this he needs to work on his hands. He knows this though so I bet he will work on it. Not catching the ball was his biggest knock.

Dareus as Ganondorf, I like it.

I like to believe this has more to do with the Bills players feeling like they can be something special. They started a year 0-8 and finished 4-4 while taking playoff and championship game bound teams to OT and 3 pt nail biters. All this with one year under a new coach and with a young roster. Im sure they can feel what they are capable of. -poz

Phins @ Bills

Game is on local TV here today due to the Bucs playing last night…Sad to say but the Bills and the Bucs seasons are closely paralleling each other as both teams started with so much promise…

Can the Bills some way salvage their season with a win over the hated Phins? After picking the the Bills to beat the Titans (should have won) and the Chargers (rocks in my head—they suck on the west coast), I will happily pick them to roll the Phins. I will boldly predict that if the Bills beat the Phins today they will beat the Broncos next week but if they lose today they will end the season on a 9 game losing streak!!

Phins hate playing in the cold and the Bills will come out smoking. Spiller will get 15 to 20 carries and explode for 125+ yards to lead the Bills to victory. Bills defense comes up big by forcing 3+ turnovers as the Bills beat the Phins.

Bills 30 Phins 20

Locks of the week:

Packers (-13.5) 45 Chiefs 23, Pack rolls to perfection!
Saints (-6.5) 37 Vikings 20, As The Saints go Marching On..

Upsets of the week:

Panthers (6.5) 27 Texans 24, Darn Tooting I like Cam Newton!
Chargers (2.5) 31 Ravens 27, Chargers making their late run
Broncos (+7.5) 23 Pats 20, Our Father who art in Heaven (Broncos @ Home)

Good luck and Go Bills!!!

Bills should break their streak today.

I need some hope to carry me into the offseason…..

I think we will know after the Dolphins first offensive possession.

If the Bills defense gives up yet another 6 minute, multiple 3rd and long conversion, opening drive, it wil be another butt kicking. On the other hand, if the defense can start strong and gain confidence and aggression, then streak could be over. I think the former is the more likely of the two.

there is hope for pressure on the QB today at least

without Jake Long. If we can hit Moore, hes hurt and could be rattled.

Miami 9 Buffalo 5 in a heart breaker. This game is going to suck. Look for a pointless safety to raise our spirits up.

Buf 30-10

I think the streak will finally be broken.

Going down again

I dont see the Bills winning a game the rest of the season.

Oh, by the way. Nice comments this week on the support for Pears and his new contract. Let’s see…..so far in the game, Holding, Personal foul, Allowed Wake to make a sack…….and we are just in the first half.
That’s what you get for $9M! A servicable takle.
