Marquee Matchups – Escape from Revis Island | ProFootballFocus.com
"Ordinarily in our Marquee Matchups column we take a look at three of the more intriguing one-on-one matchups that the week’s action threw up. However, this week allowed us to review the matchup between Darrelle Revis and the man who earlier this season put up more yards in Revis’ coverage than any individual receiver has managed in the last four seasons against him, Stevie Johnson."
Jackson struggling with inactivity - BuffaloBills.com
"He had never missed a game in his NFL career until this past week. Fred Jackson is not an idle person, so being reduced to an immobilizer leg cast and crutches has not been the running back’s favorite thing since being placed on injured reserve last week with a broken right fibula."
Bills Focus: Chris Johnson Hitting his Stride - BuffaloBills.com
The Titans running back had his best game of the season last weekend. Can the Bills slow him down Sunday?
Bills-Titans game to be blacked out on local TV - BuffaloBills.com

Inside The Bills | 3 Bills high in Pro Bowl voting
Ryan Fitzpatrick, George Wilson, and Nick Barnett are in prime position to make the Pro Bowl.

"I’m getting less optimistic every day," Gailey said with respect to Wilson’s chances of playing.
Inside The Bills | Leodis, Naaman good shot for Sun.
"(Leodis) was limited and did a good job and it looks like both will be in good shape to play this week," said Gailey.
Inside The Bills | Testing young DBs
"The three rookies in the secondary that have seen a lot of playing time the past two games will be playing their first home game in the secondary together. Knowing that communication has been an issue between all of them Buffalo’s defensive staff is preparing them for the crowd noise Bills fans will be providing to disrupt the Titans offense."
Re-emergence of Titans' Chris Johnson is bad luck for Bills | Democrat and Chronicle
"Johnson was embroiled in a contentious holdout after the NFL lockout ended in July, and he sat out all of training camp before finally agreeing to a mammoth six-year, $56 million contract. And then he played like someone who should be making $56 a year during the first two months."
Bills' Smith Settles In To Traditional Role - WGR 550
"He’s a guy that’s shown he can go up, get it and he can make plays," Fitzpatrick said of his teamamte. "It was good to see that. It was good to see the touchdown and the way he ran some of his other routes being able to snag the ball like he did. We’re going to expect for him to do the same stuff week in and week out now."
Bills' Wilson Likely To Miss 3rd Straight Game - WGR 550
" With Wilson likely to miss his third straight contest, the Bills will once again depend upon rookie safety Da'Norris Searcy to start at strong safety. Searcy, in two starts, has 12 solo tackles for Buffalo."
Blackout in Buffalo - AFC East Blog - ESPN
"There are plenty of Bills fans who frequent this blog. Many let me know this week that they disagreed with my take on Buffalo receiver Steve Johnson's $10,000 fine. I'd like to get some thoughts from Bills fans on why they are losing interest with five weeks remaining. The Bills still have an outside shot at the wild card if they run the table."
Spiller gets big chance against low-ranked Titans run defense - YNN
"The stats say that they struggle at 124, but it could be something totally different. They could come in here and play lights out. So i'm just going to prepare the best I can and come Sunday lay it all on the line," said Spiller.
Bills Roundtable - Pre Titans | wgrz.com
"2-On-Your-Side's Ben Hayes and Sal Maiorana of the Rochester Democrat & Chronicle talk about the state of the team, what went wrong during the road trip, and preview the game against the Titans."
Bills weren’t that bad in loss to Jets - Olean Times Herald
"Indeed, Buffalo, after three straight blowout losses by a combined score of 126-26, played an inspired game ... especially since five starters had been lost to injury after the first meeting and five other positions had different starters from Nov. 6."

Anyone watched the game last night?
BEAST MODE!!! What a game! Yeah Nix, you’re a genious. We have a team in rebuilding process, who not had much sucess with 1st round picks recently, so, what you will do. GIVE UP ON THE ONLY FIRST ROUNDER WHO HAVE PRODUCED, to pick another HB in the draft. Great! We had the best running back duo in the league, two work horses who could run all over the people all day. Now see our situation.
And before someone says, " we have Hairston with the Lynch pick", give me Beast Mode and Bulaga or Pierre Paul anyday over Spiller and Hairston.
Also, Jason Peters, what a BEAST. How we want make the playoffs if we let our best players go all the time?
Easy easy easy, whoa tiger. Hindsight is 20/20. Marshawn Lynch tends to have a couple really productive games per year, and we needed more consistency than that. I did question the Spiller pick, but I think they were going for the rebuilding project. Coming out of college, Spiller looked like he could be the next Chris Johnson. It’s easy now to look back and say “man, he just doesn’t have the vision or confidence to really warrant that pick.” But the thinking at the time was that this could be a guy we build around.
Didn’t Jason Peters want to be the highest paid OL in the league at the time we let him go?
I think Peters
is the best LT in the game. Mike Mayock agrees with me. So, he deserves to be paid. Also, i like Spiller, and i still beliving in him, but you can’t wast a pick when you have 2 very good running backs already and lack players in all othe positions. Also, Lynch have way more than just 2 good games a season. He proved he can be a featured back. Just like Fred. Who is leading the NFL in rushing yards since november? Yeah, Beast Mode.

please reflect on that sentence. if u believe in spiller, how could that be a wasted pick
i say that's a wasted pick
considering we don’t needed a running back at the time. If we not had Lynch and Fred, that would be a good pick.

neither of them is a waterbug scat back type of player. gailey and nix wanted one of those, making that position a ‘need’ in their eyes. there are different kinds of RBs, and gailey didnt have the type that spiller is and he wanted one badly.
also consider the idea that nix and chan knew they would be shipping off marshawn to the highest bidder eventually, and were also unaware (as most everyone was) that fred jackson was such a high caliber player.
the logic behind them wanting spiller isnt so ludicrous if u consider this
He wore out his welcome long before Nix arrived.
Thank you thank you thank you thank you sireric for bringing the furious punching cat back into my life. - poz

lynch hasnt been all that good for the seahawks until recent weeks, save that insane run against the saints obviously.
remember the bills got hairston for him and still have another player coming in that deal. this trade also allowed fred jackson to emerge as a complete and total stud, who has clearly been a batter RB than lynch since the deal
and trading peters got the bills eric wood. having a good center is at least as important as having a good LT.
Lynch trade
That conditional 6th rounder from the Lynch trade will surely turn into a 5th based on his play. So we will have two 4ths and two 5ths in this year’s draft. At least one of those picks needs to be starting within two years.
