Week 17 Draft Scenarios?
Hello All. As this last regular season game approaches, I am guessing that the bills draft spot is going to be highly variable on the outcome of the bills game along with a few other key games of 6-9 and 5-10 teams. I do not know for sure so I am hoping that some of you may be able to provide some scenarios describing what our lowest/highest possible positions may be. I know the tiebreaker in the draft is the team with the lowest opponent wins picks before the team with the higher amount of opponent wins but I was not able to find a website that provided info on that. If I were to guess, I would say we mainly want (in terms of draft position not pride):
The Bills to lose to the Pats and become 6-10
The dolphins (5-10) to beat the jets and become 6-10
The panthers to the saints and become 7-9
The redskins to beat the eagles and become 6-10
The chiefs to beat the broncos and become 7-9
That should put us in the 7th spot at the best case scenario and 11th in the worst case, i think. If anyone has knowledge that contradicts or supports that then let me know.
Just another great fan opinion shared on the pages of BuffaloRumblings.com.

This site projects the possible draft orders.

Bills have a 65% chance of finishing in the 10th position. It’s theoretically possible for us to finish anywhere from 7th to 16th, but essentially impossible. We also have a better chance of finishing 11th/12th than finishing 8th/9th.

i think bills will lose, jets will win, panthers lose, broncos win. even if redskins win, bills hold tiebreaker because we beat them, right?

tiebreaker
I don’t think us beating the skins really matters. I’m pretty sure the first tiebreaker for 2 teams with the same record is: whichever team has a lower total number of opponent wins gets the lower draft pick.
Beating a team doesn't matter
Strength of schedule
I think the draft positioning of teams has a flaw in it, and i consider it a major flaw. Buffalo and Miami could finished tied at 6-10. Currently Miami would draft ahead of us. The problem with this is Miami is a divisional rival, and they will have a better divisional record, will have a better record in the AFC and have beaten the bills both times in head to head match ups. So in the standings the Bills would finish dead last in there division. So Miami would draft ahead of us based on strength of schedule?? I think the NFL better look into it, not even close to fairness.
Are we drafting Dino's now?
