Joe Cribbs & CJ Spiller

For those of you that ever saw Joe Cribbs play for the Bills there is a distinct similarity in the style and potential of CJ Spiller. Cribbs played just 3 full season's with the Bills, ran for over 1,000 in each and also made the Pro-Bowl in those years. When he found a hole in the line he'd put a quick move on the 2nd line of defense and then used his speed to out run the rest of the defenders. He was a true threat on every play. He also averaged 50+ catches per season.

Now that CJ understands that in the NFL running between the tackles is the key to yardage, you can see his exceptional skills. Speed can't be taught. If used regularly and properly I can see a 1200-1400 yard back and a star player. I have fears he won't be used regularly and before we know it he'll be another teams featured back.

Any comments?
