Is it just me or is Donter Whitner acting like a big baby with all this talk about safeties?  Go to his twitter page (I'll make it easy and add a link Donte's twitter) and he has almost every single article about Bob Sanders and O.J. Atogwe.  He also has almost every article about his interest in said articles.  It really smacks of childish behavior.

I consider myself a fan of Donte Whitner.  I'm not as hard on him as some people on the site are including Brian. However it has to be said that the man has struggled to make an impact.   Here is a link to his Pro Football Reference page: Whitner's stats.  A quick glance will show pretty average numbers. Also his careers numbers are boosted by a very good 2010.  Is that an anomaly or signs of him coming of age?  I personally think it's just him having a good year but nothing special.  How he wants a new big money contract and the Bills are balking at it.  I don't know if this is true, but I would think that he is probably asking for a contract like Troy Polamalu's or Ed Reed's. No way is he worth it.  I dont' know, maybe he isn't asking for that and the Bills are trying to give him even less; point is, he's not worth what he thinks hes worth.  His reaction to all this with childish tweets and so on is telling. 

I understand that he is upset that his team doesn't think highly of him anymore, but just move on and be a man about it. 

Anyway, that's my feelings on this quiet Tuesday night.
