I have never really considered Fairley a great fit for our defense. Our biggest need on the DL, in my opinion, is a 5-technique DE (bonus if he can also line up at DT in the 4-3). I always thought that this player was Dareus, but according to this link Fairley has the ability to play the 5-technique...
Do you agree that he could play that position? Would it be a waste of his talents? Is Dareus still a better fit?
