The things described in the write up are some of the things I saw when I watched a few of his games, including the game against Oklahoma that Mizzou won. I don't believe the hype. He is not an impact player right now. A good player. But he did not stand out when I watched him. That is why I never understood how he got into the discussion for a top 10 pick. Think about the season. We heard a lot of talk about Peterson, Fairley, Newton, Luck, Green, Jones, Ingram. We even heard about the many suspended North Carolina underclassmen. Who talked about Gabbert before he declared for the draft? He wasn't even in the national discussion.
If the Bills feel he is their guy, fine. I will hope it works out well. The guy has talent, but for people to act like he is so much better than Newton? Watch their games and tell me who stands out more between those two.
