With the players in lockout mode, the only thing Bills fans will have to cheer for a while is the NFL 2011 draft in April. The lockout may also shift some people's points of view on what the Bills need to prioritize on come April. Players that will need more development will likely drop in the draft (no practicing until the players' strike ends) while others may gain if deemed more ready for NFL level of play. In the meanwhile though, the Bills continue to hold the third overall pick their highest since the Bills got to select DE Bruce Smith in 1985. So without further ado, let's begin.
Please note that with the new format, I am asking you to select the position you think the Bills need to address first, with the best prospect of that position first, then second... Obviously, two of these names will not be here by the time the Bills make a selection. Further compounding this year's draft are all the free agents trapped in limbo while the strike goes on so remember to factor that in with your selection. Enjoy!
