The list of 2011 NFL Draft prospects visiting the Buffalo Bills pre-draft continues to grow. The latest name player coming through the doors of One Bills Drive? Purdue defensive end Ryan Kerrigan.
Kerrigan was a four-year star as a Boilermaker, recording 209 tackles, 55.5 tackles for loss and 37.5 sacks over the course of his illustrious four-year career. That includes an outstanding senior season in which he piled up 26 tackles for loss and 12.5 quarterback takedowns. The 6'4", 267-pound senior impressed at the Combine with a 4.71-second 40-yard dash and smooth workouts in positional drills - even at linebacker. He's being looked at both as a 4-3 end, which will probably be his best pro position, and as a 3-4 outside linebacker.
According to Jamison Hensley's report, Kerrigan has already visited with Jacksonville, and will be meeting with Baltimore, as well.
We're now up to seven players visiting Buffalo pre-draft: Cam Newton, Gabe Carimi, Brooks Reed, Kerrigan, Von Miller, Kelvin Sheppard and Patrick Peterson.
