Kaepernick out to dispel doubters
Chris Brown's latest piece on Kaepernick. By the way, Brown says Kaep scored a 37 on the Wonderlic. I hope CHIX don't screw around and gamble on him sliping to the 3rd round....just take him at #34.

Unfortunately,
we may be lucky if Kaep makes it to #34

Agreed. Go Dareus/Bowers in the first and Kaep in the second.

Thanks Joe
I like this kid alot. Success in the D1 program. Definately, not ready to start day one but a true legitimate upside for the near future. Smart enough to learn what is in store for him. The only thing that confuses me is that we cannot afford to take A.J. Green at #3 and Colin Kaepernick at #34.
We would miss out on at least one stud on defense and drafting an OT early in the draft. Meaning drafting three offensive players in the first four rounds doesn’t address our defensive needs.
I know Green would be a luxury, but the kid is a playmaker and potentially available at #3. Hitting the OT early in the draft would be a very popular pick but not if we take one or two offensive players ahead of them. Just trying to match logic with BPA drafting.

he also has the learning ability slightly above a turnip with a 10 wonderlic.
I scored a 38 on the wonderlic sample test after drinking a 12 pack of beer just for kicks.
WR usually blossom in their 3rd year, I think green might need a few more years to wrap his brain around his physical talent, and produce in the nfl.

Can you throw a football 30 yds on a rope?

How big is the rope? :)

Wasn't talking about Kaepernick.
You will see I was commenting on AJ Green. Can he throw a football 30 yards on a rope too?
Probably not, he is still dumb as a rock and probably not as good as WR prospect as some think.
The physical talent is there, but dumb receivers rarely reach the full potential of their physical abilities,

may bad.....can you catch a 30 yd pass thrown on a rope too :-)
I am not a Green supporter, but my point was that you need to have both physical and mental abilities to be a star in the NFL

actually I can.
Once I learned to snatch the ball out of the air with my hands instead of trapping it against my body.

Question?
How smart you gotta be to run routes and catch the ball? Its not rocket science, and far less taxing than say QB.

If last year is any indication, Nix does not gamble. Selecting Troup goes hand in hand with draft a guy like Kaep in the early second as well.
