Fred Jackson underrated in this league?
In this Chris Brown story, Brown discusses a recent ProFootballFocus survey amongst current NFL running backs. Fred Jackson comes out second behind 2010 undrafted rookie standout LeGarrette Blount.
Amongst Bills fans Fred is a bright spot on an otherwise starless roster, but many on the outside still may not know who this guy is. Even though I want Spiller more involved this year, i am torn because he is so good and gives us our best chance to win games. Last year, when given the ball atleast 20 times (which was only 5 times), Jackon averaged 99.6 yards. In the 3 games where Jackson eclipsed 100, we won all of them.
Even though his and Spillers running styles are different, I’m glad we have a guy like Fred to teach Spiller how to wait for things to happen in front of him and to be patient as a runner. Both C.J. Spiller and Jackson are high character guys who have zero problems off the field. Jackson is a much better influence on and off the field than Lynch would have been, and I for one am greatful for this.
Also, what I love about Fred is his silky smooth running style and his ability to look slow when he is very quick for his size. I think this attribute is what makes him so elusive in a crowd and in the open field.
What do you think of Fred as an asset to Spiller?
Just another great fan opinion shared on the pages of BuffaloRumblings.com.

I hate it when that happens
I am such a slow writer that I now open a new tab and look before I post if I have been working on something for a couple of hours.
That is why this site is so good even if Brian wasn’t so awsome someone would step up and post the news.
