Intruiging fan mock draft in progress at NFP - Updated

I was on NFP and found their fan mock draft...it's still in progress but there have been two trades involving the Bills so far, which is always interesting. Just to clarify, I'm not the GM - I'm not making the trades or the picks, I just found it. Here's the link.

Here are the two trades:

Trade with Jacksonville:

Jax gets #3

Bills gets #16 , #80, and Jax 2012 1st Rd Pick.

Trade with Tampa Bay:

Tampa Bay gets #16, #80, #99

Bills get #20, #51, #115, #182

Which, in sum, gives us:
#20 - Gabe Carimi, OT
#34 - Jabaal Sheard, DE
#51 - Jason Pinkston, OG
#68 - KJ Wright, OLB
#115
#121
#130
#164
#182
#195
#206
#245
(2012 Jacksonville #1 pick)

Obviously, trading for future picks is a huge, huge question mark. But since it's a mock, who cares. Also, just for contrast, here's what we started with vs. ended up with:

Started with: #3, #34, #68, #100, #122, #133, #169, #206, and #245 (9 picks).

Ended with: 2012 JAX #1, #20, #34, #51, #68, #115, #121, #130, #164, #182, #195, #206, and #245 (12 picks and 1 future pick).

My thoughts:

Dropping the top 3 pick aside, I kind of love that our early-mid picks go from #34, #68, #100, #122, #133 to #20, #34, #51, #68, #115, #121, #130. That makes me salivate.

It also makes me sick that in this mock the Pats move up and get Patrick Peterson.

At the end of the day, I'm a fan of dropping our #3 and gaining Jacksonville's 2012 #1 (of course assuming that future picks aren't worthless) because of the firepower that gives us in a draft that includes my main man Andrew Luck. But, that's probably wishful thinking.

As far as the actual picks that the Buffalo GM is making, I'm not ecstatic with them, but when I think about Bell, Levitre, Wood, Pinkston, and Carimi as our O-line for the next decade then I start to get intrigued. Obviously no 3 picks fill all of our needs and it'll be interesting to see how the rest of the mock plays out. I'll try to keep this post updated.

Just another great fan opinion shared on the pages of BuffaloRumblings.com.
