Here is my draft in looking through Buddy and Chan's eyes:
st round - Patrick Peterson - CB - LSU - This will allow the defense to convert McGee to Safety and let Whitner fly like the wind. We would have a defensive backfield that would keep them in games and actually make our run defense better.
nd round - Christian Ponder - FSU - This is a no brainer Chan loves him and we can bring him along slowly.
rd round - Jabaal Sheard - OLB - Pitt - four year starter for Pitt. No scouting report needed. His former coach can get him to perform.
th round -Kevin Sheppard - ILB - LSU - I think he will fall this far and the Bills will scoop him up to
th round -Sione Fua - NT - Stanford - This guy is strong and can be flexible in the many schemes the Bills will run.
th round - Andre Smith - TE - Virginia Tech - Big tight end who could block and did a lot at Virginia Tech.
th round - DeMarcus Love - OT - Arkansas - Pass blocking for Ryan Mallet's back side means he would work out as our starting RT
th round -Lazarius Levingston - DE - LSU - playing in the pros (SEC) makes him able to make a contribution on the next level
th round - Steven Friday - OLB - Virginia Tech - He could be a solid special teams contributor.
All these players played four years of school. They all played in top level schools and all played against real talent. No on year wonders or they looked good in shorts players. They all could contribute now to the Bills. Let me know what you think.
