NFL.com has already had their experts rank the 32 teams...perhaps a bit premature considering free agency hasn't begun yet, which could absolutely shake things up (adding Kolb to a bottom rung team, for instance).

That said, it's never too soon to talk more football. Here's how these "experts" stack up the Bills.

Gil Brandt - Buffalo #23 (ahead of Washington, Seattle, Cincinnati, Tennessee, Cleveland, Minnesota, Carolina, Arizona, Denver). New England #2, NYJ #5, Miami #22.

Pat Kirwan - Buffalo #23 (ahead of Cincinnati, Denver, Seattle, Oakland, San Fran, Arizona, Tennessee, Cleveland, Carolina). New England #3, NYJ #4, Miami #21.

Steve Wyche - Buffalo #26 (ahead of Seattle, Tennessee, Washington, San Fran, Denver, Carolina). New England #4, NYJ #5, Miami #13.

Vic Carucci - Buffalo #24 (ahead of Seattle, San Fran, Tennessee, Cincinnati, Carolina, Washington, Minnesota, Arizona). New England #2, NYJ #4, Miami #22.

Jason La Canfora - Buffalo #27 (ahead of Cincinnati, Tennessee, Miami, Arizona, Carolina). New England #4, NYJ #9.

Bucky Brooks - Buffalo #31 (ahead of Carolina). New England #3, NYJ #5, Miami #22.

Charles Davis - Buffalo #31 (ahead of Carolina). NYJ #3, New England #4, Miami #24.

My observations: -I was actually surprised to see us ranked so high by over half of these guys--considering that we picked #3 overall.

-It looks like their thought process had us ranked above teams with very tenuous or poor starting QBs, which seems fair. Fitzpatrick isn't maybe our franchise guy, but he's better than what most of those teams have right now.

-Only one of them has us in front of Miami, but most of them have us within a couple of spots. (Really Wyche? Miami #13? Please.)

-Brooks and Davis: we'll remember that when we upset NYJ or NE this year.

-Here's my question for you all: what teams would you rank us above?  At this point, again with free agency up in the air, I'd go with this: we're better than Cincinnati, Arizona, Carolina, Denver, Tennessee...and maybe Washington. Oh, and Miami. Because I hate them, and I'm not going to concede 3rd place in the division to that ugly aqua/orange. Boom.
