Does Troup read Buffalorumblings?
I noticed on the Bills website today that Chris Brown had a small blog post quoting some of Troup's twitter messages: http://blogs.buffalobills.com/2011/05/25/troup-grinding-on-his-own/ . Take it or leave it as it may initially sound dumb but I can't help but wonder if Troup and even other buffalo bills players check out our website often. He said on one of his twitter messages "so many negative things being said lately" and for some reason I thought that maybe he read Brian's article about his performance in the Jags game and got discouraged haha? The only reason this thought has any kind of merit within my brain is that a few months ago I recall Donte Whitner tweeting about a Buffalorumblings articles involving Roscoe Parrish.
Are there Bills Players hiding and posting under deceivingly common usernames as we speak? Have they even infiltrated the editorial staff!?!??!?!?!? No probably not but it is still kind of funny to think that Donte Whitner or Chris Kelsay reads some of our bashings and curses under their breath.
Just another great fan opinion shared on the pages of BuffaloRumblings.com.

hahahaha
come on Superduff – if he’s not lifting weights or doing some sort of conditioning 24 hours a day then he’s a failure.
I mean seriously – eat, sleep, go to the bathroom and then weights and training from there on out. NOTHING ELSE!!

the players definitely read this
and as much as I argue with a poster when they rip on a player I like please dont stop saying how you feel fans. Just because the players read what we post and might feel bad doesn’t mean you can’t say what you want or how you feel as a fan (within Brian’s guidelines of course). This blog is great because its ours. Its a FAN forum for FAN discussion. Part of a fan discussion over a beer is praising and ripping on players. If the players don’t like it, well they don’t have to read it.
Just wanted to get that out there because I know a lot of people lately are starting to notice that players check out this blog.
On topic, I dont know why Troup would be talking about what he’s reading here. For the most part its been complimentary. I want to see him get more minutes and same with Alex Carrington, whether or not Dareus is here they both need some PT.

good post Poz!!!!
and as we all know, we need rotation on the line in the 3-4, but also need the ability to morph into the 4-3… I’ve posted before, I don’t expect Carrington in particular to hand the starting job to Dwan, but either way, Troup and Carrington are a big part of this line moving forward, I think will see major playing time this year…
Went to my first "BB" meeting today... When I stood, introduced myself, and admitted I was a Billsaholic, the other members threw beer cans at me!!
I don’t expect Carrington in particular to hand the starting job to Dwan
I 100% agree. However, unfortunately for Carrington, and fortunately for Dwan, the longer this lockout goes the better the positioning of veterans familiar with the system.
I love the fact that we have Dwan, Carrington, Troup, Meatball and Bruce Banner (its not Sunday, when he’s the Hulk, doesn’t it logically follow when we refer to him otherwise its Bruce Banner?) on the D-line. Look at those guys, that should make a huge difference in our run defense because all 5 are talented and they will be fresh within a rotational system.
Hulk – Meatball – Dwan
Hulk – Meatball – Carrington
Hulk – Troup – Meatball
Hulk – Meatball – Troup
Carrington – Hulk – Dwan
Its great !

Carrington
I agree w/ Cinga & Poz – I hope/expect Carrington will start over Edwards this year. He’s got a higher ceiling and needs to be on the field to keep improving. If all 3 d-lineman can be legit pass rushers, that could partly make up for the still-questionable OLB group.

@ Poz
So true. I would add, however, it might not the ripping so much that bothers players. They get it from their coaches all the time. It’s how they improve. But there’s a way to be critical and say what’s on your mind without being nasty or disrespectful about it. I think sometimes fans forget that.
Not sure if he is referencing BR articles, but I could see it.
In all the TT conversations I have read, it seems to me that most Rumblers see him doing better this year as a back-up to KW, and challenging for the starter role in 2012. After KW pro-bowl 2010-11 season, it is reasonable to see KW starting with TT spelling him, and playing in a heavy 4-3 set. Outside of KW being injured this is most likely. Also Rumblers have noted favorably of the reports that TT has added muscle mass with increased core strength.
The biggest negative comments are questioning why he could not crack the starting line-up since he was a 2nd round pick, and, as in the Jax game review noted, he was not as stout at the LOS as expected.
When taken in total it seems to me that there are more positive comments than negative ones here. For me personally I expect to see him on the field more, and anticipate his production to be much better than last year.
Year two is upon us.

It seems more like constructive criticism than negativity
People were critical of him because everyone here want him to succeed and be a major part of the defense for years to come.
I agree
I think it’s been pretty much all constructive criticism because I think Bills Fans really like the guy. He sounds like a guy that is dedicated and is putting in a lot of effort to get better. He’s a guy that fits Buffalo’s blue collar hard working image. He is a guy that I’m rooting for.

He might be referring to twobillsdrive
which is a tad bit…………reactionary. And also full of trolls.
The player I would like least at #9 would be my sister’s cat, Captain Creamsicle. She does have a great work ethic and agility, but I’m really concerned that at 9 lbs., she’s too small to play safety in the NFL. She also bites way too often on play action and is easily distracted by someone waving string in the crowd. Lastly, her wonderlic score was pretty awful, answering "meow meow meow" for most of the questions- Dr. Brackish Okun
And on that note
Thanks fellow rumblers. You all have made me a daily visitor (multiple times daily) ever since I first discovered this masterpiece.

Really like that some of the players are here.
Poz is right we should post as fans, and not be worried about how they will take it. The truth is that they might learn something about themselves, and no matter how negative things may sound, we all want them to succeed

And chris berman gets his inside bills material here. Who knows maybe one of you guys might get an espn gig. I heard that’s how john clayton was found. Keep writin’ boys and remember there’s no such thing as exaggeratin’ on the internet.

Hey, if they do read this blog i hope they learn to have a thick skin. Like everything else in life, you won’t be liked by everyone and no matter how hard you try you will have a bad day once and awhile. So fellas, do your best and let the chips fall where they may!
