Like many Bills' fans, I'm very excited to see how Mike Jasper fares with the team. Americans love to root for the underdog, from "Rudy" to Gary Cooper in "High Noon" to Appalachian State beating Michigan, we repond to those with little, or no, chance to win. From Where he went to school- the competition he played against- Mike Jasper shouldn't be here. But, he is. So we should give him a nickname that no only recognizes his immense size, but also, in the Asian martial arts tradition, reflects the spirit we want to see in him when he's (hopefully) stoutly clogging the middle of the defensive line on a 4th and 1 against the Patriots or Jets.
The names I suggest:
The BUFFALO BULL
The BISON BULL
The American Buffalo (Bison) Bull is a HUGH animal. They stand up to 6' 6" at the shoulders and stretch up to 11 feet from horns to tail. A bull buffalo weighs up to 2000 lbs, with 2500 lbs being the record. They won't bother you unless you get to close. During mating season, they're extremely agitated and everything irritates them. There isn't an animal on the north American Continent willing to go one-on-one with a healthy buffalo bull.
Can't you just hear 75,000 Bills fans shouting "Buuuuullllll" as The Buffalo Bull, Dareus, Troup, Meatball and Edwards trot off the field after stuffing New England for another 3 and out.
All he has to do is rise to the occasion and make the team
