How do you say "Dareus"
It's the first syllable that I've heard two ways. Does it rhyme with 'car' or 'hair?'

So does Charles Davis, and he’s pretty keen to details. But at the same time all the other guys at the NFL Network said it the other way before the draft.
I’ll go with Davis an Galliford.
I did google this before the fanshot and found both pronunciations in the top two results :)

They made a big deal about it at the draft to make sure they said it correctly. And it rhymed with “car”.

I saw the same interview
It definitely rhymes with car.

If you're a Patriots fan this discussion doesn't help
They don’t pronounce car or hair correctly in New England
