I was on nflshop.com this morning looking for new Bills gear. They do have a couple of new items, like the new polo. (The back of the polo reportedly looks much like the front, with white shoulders and a mainly royal blue back....sort of a curious twist on the away uniforms so recently discarded...) While I was browsing a pop up chat window appeared. Normally, those are just annoying but I decided to ask the rep there a couple of questions. Here's what I found:
- NFLshop.com will have new replica jerseys and some of the other new items found on the shopthebills.com website on 6/28 or 6/29.
- NFLshop.com does not anticipate getting authentic or premier jerseys until some point in August. I haven't had much luck with the replica jerseys (even washing them twice a season--I only wear them during games--they still show noticable distress within a year or two) so I'm holding out for one of the costlier versions.
- The reps on NFLshop.com have apparently been given bottled water with a little something extra or have been told to coo over any product a customer shows any interest in. In either case they are very nice.
