The past 24 hours has seen a lot happen regarding the labor talks. Earlier in the day Thursday, Mike Silver reported that the momentum of the talks was a "2 out of 10" and no real good news was expected. Add in the reports by Albert Breer and other insiders and you get the sense that a deal by the 4th of July wasn't going to happen.
However, Mike Florio speculated earlier in the day that it might be time for the Eighth Circuit to rule and get things going again. About a half hour ago, Florio reported that the talks were still continuing into the night. So what is the conclusion to be drawn here?
Will the Eighth Circuit make a ruling, or have they suggested that they might make ruling? Very interesting indeed, hopefully a deal gets done, because the fans really do deserve to have a season as usual.
Anyone think a deal will be made, or is this just more smoke and mirrors tactics?
