Rec'd....
Marshawn was good YAC but too tenative hitting the hole. Fred gets going north and south as soon as possible. he then becomes a human plinko game piece. Besides Marshawn doesn’t come close in the character department (he may grow up some day but the Bills couldn’t afford to wait).

no one is saying he should have been kept over Fred
but they should have been kept together.

I should have clarified that I wasn’t a Marshawn hater. In fact I have his jersey (would have had Fred’s if it was available in the 50th anniversary throwback whites). I was just explaining why the Bills FO had to let him go. Not that I was in total agreement. But I do believe Fred was the better runner and their patience had worn thin with Marshawn’s off field antics.
I did like the fact that Marshawn invited Fred to the Seahawks playoff game because Fred taught him how to be a pro. I also read recently that Marshawn is trying to change his off field image. I think he’s maturing and should be a good NFL back.
Bottom line though is, that I think Fred is an excellent running back that doesn’t get the recognition that he deserves.

Fred is completely underappreciated. Not by Bills fans so much as the rest of the league. Even more awesome is his road to get where he is. Gotta love Fred!

old turf
They should cut it up into like 5yd x 5yd sections and sell it that way. Could you imagine having a piece of the field as a rug in your man-cave. Awesome.

I am surprised that the county didn’t do this to be honest. With the financial strain they are under…. but this is a better political move, for sure. There is still life in the turf and they want to use it.

An even better political move would’ve been to auction those 5×5 sections off and then give the money to a local charity. Roughly 240 sections at $1000 apiece is almost a quarter mil. I gotta think that money would do a lot more good than some high school getting a new field that will most likely rapidly deteriorate due to improper care. I know I’d buy a section of the field for a grand.

Did you enjoy typing “turf” so many times?
Damn, now I’m hungry for some lobster and steak.

I can't believe two teams passed on Marcell Dareus
From draft day I kept thinking it isn’t possible to love him more, but then I hear him talk again and fall in love all over. My new favorite song is a grateful dead tune called “Monkey and the Engineer” the chorus goes
Big locomotive right on time
Big locomotive coming down the line
Big locomotive number ninety nine
Left the engineer with a worried mind
