Way back in May, after the conclusion of the 2011 NFL Draft, we updated our Buffalo Bills depth chart to reflect the nine new players the team added back on the final weekend in April. Over two months later, not a single player has been added or subtracted to the roster, but we've got a few changes to make to the depth chart anyway. (Thank our Bills re-watch for that.)
After the jump, you can find our newest projection. The theme of the changes: continuity. It's just a hunch, but I don't expect to see a lot of changes to the team's lineup - especially offensively - right out of the gate. Some spots will be open to competition, of course, but at least to start camp, I expect as little overhaul as possible.
You'll also notice the absence of the name of every impending free agent the team will have to deal with once the lockout is lifted, as is currently being reported, on July 21 or 22. Should the Bills re-sign any of those players - and multiple reports indicate that there are a few they'll try to get back in the fold right away - we'll add them right back onto this projection.
We re-visit the depth chart on occasion in a post, but if you're persistently interested in looking at it, bookmark this page.
