I see the Brad Smith signing as a step in the right direction.  How can one be upset about that?  This free agent period has been a wild ride after a long stagnant period.  The loss of Posluszny stings, but he seemed to have his heart set on moving; or maybe Nix/Gailey didn't think as highly of him as they fronted?  As for other non-signings (Clabo, Colon), oh well, what can you do?  In my opinion, though, there is nothing at all wrong with picking up a guy like Smith who can shape-shift into many different roles.  He popped off the screen every time we played the Jets, and it's sweet to pull some talent off their roster.  Also, even if he takes only 5 snaps a game, that's 5 less chances for Fitzpatrick to get levelled.  Yes, it's 5 less chances for Fitz to shine, too, but Brad Smith should extend the healthy shelf-life our #1 QB.  Anyway, someone asked for a poll, and since I haven't seen one yet, here one is...
