"I want to say thank you to Mr. Wilson and the Bills organization for everything over the last 7 years. To the great fans who make Buffalo special, thanks for always supporting me and my family. I’ll always have ties to the Buffalo community as I’ve met a lot of great people who will remain friends."

Thank you Lee for the great years with us, thank you for your leadership throughout those years
I am happy that you are going to a team that has a chance to go all the way, you deserve it buddy!
Good luck in Baltimore!

I wish him the best in Baltimore. And I’m happy for him. He wasted most of his career on a losing team, so he deserves to go play for a contender.
That said, when the smoke clears I think I will understand this trade better. Right now I’m in knee jerk hate mode.

Good luck Lee
Now go knock the Patriots out of the playoffs.
GOOD LUCK LEE
A true professional on and off the field. thank you for handling yourself the way you did these past 7 years. You’ll always be a Buffalo Bill
Good Luck
I fully anticipate being a Ravens fan for the playoffs. You were my favorite player. Go out and win. Beat the Patriots. See what NFL playoff football is like. And as you do, remember that you will still have fans in Buffalo.
Best of luck Lee. We'll all miss you!
At least I get to watch him play the Steelers twice a year living in Western, PA. I hate the freakin Steelers, so hopefully Evans can burn them both times this year.

You will be missed. I’ll be watching the Ravens a lot more now to see how you’re doing. Again, Best wishes to you and your family.
Yea
I have no choice. I live in Baltimore, and I’ve watched them take our players and make title runs with them..This is going to go down as one of the worst moments in Bills History.
Classy words
Good luck to Evans

Thank you for being such a class act. If there was ever a player that had the right to complain it was you, but you never did. Glad to see you get to play for a contender. All of BillsMafia is rooting you. RESPECT.

Class act Lee
Now you finally have that cannon armed QB to get you the ball downfield again. Hope you rebound and have a pro bowl year again.

My most disappointing move yet for the Bills... ever.
Well, maybe except for trading Bruce, but Lee Evans is the only guy we have had for years that was worth his selection, gave us some amazing plays, and allowed us a true hard worker and intelligent player to be on our team for the past 8 years. I think Baltimore just took us for fools, and I think it is great that Lee has a chance to compete somewhere that will be able to use his talent, because of their veteran presence, and because he is a class act. I expect Flacco to send him to the Pro Bowl, if not the Super Bowl, because Evans is a great receiver, who can stretch the defense. Best of luck man, you the chance to be great.
not re-signed? just let him go into free agency?
that is even worse. I was still pretty young, so i didn’t remember and not the sort to go back and check 20 years ago, for a 2 second post, as it probably isn’t real actually relevant to today’s NFL. I will, however, stand corrected. Definitely trading Lee is my least favorite move ever then. So thanks for the info that allows me to drop any qualifier.

Man
You hate to see guys like that go, but that’s the NFL it’s business
There is nothing worse than exaggeration!- Me
We all say, GO BILLS and I've always wondered, where do we want them to go? I guess to the Super Bowl! -Me
Good luck Lee
I hope you get a ring in Baltimore but you’ll be a Bill for life in my eyes! Thank you for the class, professionalism, and talent you brought to Buffalo for the last 7 years.
Punt?! In our moment of triumph?! I think you overestimate their chances!!

Lee
You were a constant (in the good way), please know that you trade will ultimately spell the demise for our horrible GM.
Between you an Poz I now have no current Bills Jerseys… Maybe that was OBDs plan, make people buy new jerseys.

Look at this like...
A better opportunity for Lee and his career. He was a great guy for us and other than the Bills this year I will definitely keep an eye on Baltimore and cheer them on if they are in the playoffs and the Bills are not. Baltimore got a little bit classier and I personally wish them the best of luck with this trade. Nothing can be done at this point, let’s just hope our WR’s step up and our offense can become potent without Lee and when our pick comes around next fall, we use it on a guy that will help us for years to come.

So sad, but...
Now we can watch another ex-Bill make a run at a Super Bowl. Loved Lee. Good luck man.
Good luck Lee!!
I wish u all the best Lee. U came to play every game, kept your chin up all these years without ever uttering a negative word. I don’t know how u did it. U would have been a superstar on any other team. Hopefully, now u will get your chance. Thanks for being a Bill!!!

Sad to see you go, but wish you the best with Baltimore.
Lee seems pretty OK with the move in general, from his interview the other day to his remarks here.
I think K and a couple others here may have been right about him asking for a trade. It’s been intimated in other outlets (Tim Graham for one) that the Bills may have been honoring a gentlemens agreement. If that is the case then it takes a bit of the sting out.
Regardless, thanks for everything Lee.
Good Luck, Lee.
Seriously, was he an elite receiver? No. Was he damn good? Yes, especially when he had someone who knew how to throw to him rather than let him draw people off of Josh Reed. Will he be missed? I think that’s on Marcus Easley, David Nelson, Donald Jones and even Naaman to decide.
(I’m presuming it’ll be 13, 86, 11, 19, 81 to start… only because I have no idea about how Buster Davis will fit. Of course, Roscoe’s probably out tomorrow at least… I’d say the starters will be, for now, Stevie, David, Donald, and then Scott and Fred-oh… which actually would be my hurry-up set, or switch Chandler with Brad Smith for more options… hmm…)

Thank You Lee Evans
